How can people and cities learn from each other?
This issue of the magazine "workflow – Modern Working Environments in Seestadt" is dedicated to the topic "The Learning City".
The city is capable of learning; it learns from the needs of the people who live and work here. Conversely, people also learn from the city, which shows them that many things are easily and sustainably accessible, that living and working belong together, and that urban open spaces are not only for use but also for shaping by their users. That’s why Seestadt has public spaces where art and culture take place, spaces where children can develop freely, and spaces that can be used by everyone—institutions and residents alike—such as the public sports and play areas at Elinor-Ostrom-Park. They are and remain meeting points for exchange, where the future of Seestadt is shaped together.
This district is still in the making. City and community need time to grow.
