There are people, places, and environments that have an amazing effect on us. A presence we cannot escape. We feel comfortable with them. That is radiance. In the case of a city, it means creating places that attract us and where we want to be. Creating offerings that make our lives more interesting and our everyday life more pleasant. In the urban fabric, we often mark such places with high-rises – they visibly mark the center: This is where life is. But they must be properly planned – how? Developing a city with radiance also means developing a livable city. Above all, healthcare and cultural offerings play a major role. Together with projects like the “Seestädter,” which creates a new neighborhood, and innovative ideas like the “Digital Twin,” a colorful and diverse puzzle emerges, which we piece together in this issue and whose overall picture forms Seestadt.

On a Culture TOUR in Seestadt

How can people be motivated to take advantage of the cultural offerings in their neighborhood? Lisa Kerlin from the Volkstheater and Sora Institute study author Daniel Schönherr discuss this topic.

“Anyone with visions needs a place to unfold them” is a guiding principle that defines the concept of the Seestadt Technology Center. With the construction of building tz3, the aim is to take another step towards a sustainable future.
