Seestadt is not only home to many children, but also to numerous one-person businesses and micro-enterprises (there are around 300 companies in Seestadt, about 85% of which are EPUs and micro-enterprises). Experience shows that this group of entrepreneurs unfortunately often neglects their own health due to lack of time. What has become established in large companies through workplace health promotion has unfortunately not yet reached EPUs and micro-enterprises.
Workplace Health Promotion
That is why we – gemeinsam gesund, the health network of Seestadt, and the district management – together with the Seestadt health sector, want to develop a special range of offers for workplace health promotion for entrepreneurs.
Think Tank “Work-Life Balance”
To start this dialogue, a first planning workshop was held on 22.09.2021 in a small setting: the Think Tank “Work-Life Balance”. These workshops are now to be expanded and open to anyone interested in contributing to this initiative.
As a first step, we want to conduct a survey among companies as well as a very short survey among all health providers to see if they would be interested in participating.
