Seestadt is located in the northeast of Vienna, in the 22nd district Donaustadt, nestled between the Danube wetlands and Marchfeld. It lies at the center of the CENTROPE area between Vienna and Bratislava.
The 50,000 m² lake is the heart of the district and was created even before the buildings – a clear sign of planning that puts people first. With a park, promenade, and bathing areas in the south, it stands for leisure, identity, and high quality of life.
Since 2013, the U2 connects Seestadt with two stations to the city center in 25 minutes. The service is complemented by bus lines, trams, and the Aspern Nord regional train station.
