aspern Seestadt Vienna is an urban development area of European scale and a once-in-a-century opportunity for Vienna
Seestadt is not a city expansion in the usual sense. Here, a district with a wide range of urban functions is being created—a business location with up to 20,000 jobs and living space for more than 25,000 people, a new center for the 22nd district, the surrounding area, and the Centrope region.
The Wien 3420 aspern Development AG and the Program Management Urban Development Areas for Livable Housing of the City of Vienna are the two key contacts for all stakeholders in Seestadt. The District Management Seestadt aspern provides information on current developments around Seestadt and fosters networking among existing and future neighborhoods.
Cooperation for Quality of Life
Wien 3420 aspern development AG is responsible for the development of Seestadt. It serves as the main point of contact for investors and potential project developers and manages location marketing. In close cooperation with the City of Vienna, it oversees urban planning and infrastructure development.
The City of Vienna is involved in the development of Seestadt through more than 20 departments. The Program Management for Urban Development Areas for Livable Housing coordinates all project-related measures within the municipal administration and supports collaboration between the City of Vienna, Wien 3420 AG, and other relevant project partners.
The joint development and design of the new district is a key objective of the district management Seestadt aspern. The team, based in Seestadt, acts as a mediator between Seestadt residents, businesses, and institutions active in Seestadt.
