... because health goes hand in hand with balancing family, work, and private life, and is becoming increasingly important for both entrepreneurs and employees. Doing something good for yourself On 23.09.2022, around 20 companies were able to take advantage of the offer from 13 fellow entrepreneurs to do something good for themselves. The range of services was very diverse, from preventive offers for physical and mental health to trial training sessions. Gemeinsam gesund – the health network of the Seestadt, Gutes aus der Seestadt – the entrepreneurs' association of the Seestadt, and the Stadtteilmanagement Seestadt aspern made the program possible. From companies – for companies. Presenting and getting to know each other “I think it’s fantastic that this offer exists. This way, I get to know the diverse health services in the Seestadt, and the great thing is that you can access these offers directly at the providers’ premises,” said one participant of the event. Another participant emphasized that this event is also a very good networking opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues. The providers were pleased to once again have the opportunity to present their services. “The Seestadt is so diverse, and the short distances from one practice to the next business, as well as the commitment of the companies, are unique,” says Claudia Glawischnig-Hejtmanek, responsible for corporate relations and the topic of work-life balance at Stadtteilmanagement. Diverse offers and potential Sophia Kral from the health network of the Seestadt “gemeinsam gesund” is convinced: “This is how collaboration succeeds in the Seestadt. It shows that a space for physical and mental health has also been created here, which is very diverse.” Gabi Plank, responsible for the entrepreneurs’ association “Gut leben in der Seestadt,” sees the added value above all in the fact that entrepreneurs in the Seestadt get to know each other, make use of the great offers, and can also promote them together. The Health Day was therefore a win³ situation: for the health of the entrepreneurs, for the providers (by raising awareness of their services), and for the networking spirit in the Seestadt. Also present was the Wirtschaftskammer Wien Personenberatung und Personenbetreuung, which provided consulting vouchers for the participants and can also be brought on board as a keynote speaker. For Sophia Kral, this event was also a starting point for possible further initiatives in this direction.
