Today is International Drowning Prevention Day. We want to use this occasion to highlight an important topic: the safety of children in bodies of water. In addition to several aid organizations such as the Samariterbund and the Red Cross, Wiener Bäder are once again focusing on child safety this year and are offering swimming courses for children. The earlier they learn to move safely and confidently in the water, the better. The courses are offered during the holidays in selected indoor pools in small groups. Up to six children can participate in the three-week block courses with 9 sessions each. Each course costs 100 euros. In addition to the City of Vienna's offerings, there are also numerous private options from swimming schools and swimming clubs. We have compiled some offers for you: Courses and offers in Wiener Bäder, baby swimming and children's swimming courses in Wiener Bäder, swimming courses by the Austrian Youth Red Cross, and summer swimming courses by the Samariterbund.
