To improve the pathway connection between the settlement east of Seestadt and Seestadt itself, the Berta-Zahourek-Weg will soon be upgraded and illuminated. The direct pathway connection between Memlinggasse and Käthe-Recheis-Gasse is currently expected to be completed by 2030.
The construction area extends east from Sonnenallee at Seestadtpromenade to Niklas-Eslarn-Straße. Please note the marked pedestrian detour (see map).
The work will be carried out during official working hours and is expected to continue until the end of November 2025.
Please note that entering the construction site – and all construction equipment – is extremely dangerous and therefore strictly prohibited.
Attention – new traffic routing in the northwest of the Seestadt
As part of the preparations for the upcoming construction projects in the Seecarré and Seeterrassen areas, Sonnenallee West between Yella-Hertzka-Park and the Ostbahnbegleitstraße connector will once again be fully open to public traffic.
