Robert Grüneis joined the Wien 3420 AG Executive Board in 2023. The lawyer and expert for energy and smart cities is responsible
for the areas of product development, property management and participating interests.
After holding positions in the judiciary and the city administration of Vienna, he took on the function of Executive Board
Director of Wiener Stadtwerke for the areas energy, research, technology, smart city, IT and sustainability in 2014. He played
a key role in major strategic projects such as the establishment of EnergieAllianz and Wiener Energie. From 2017 until the
end of 2022, Robert Grüneis, together with Co-Managing Director Georg Pammer, headed Europe's most innovative and largest
energy research project based in aspern Seestadt - Aspern Smart City Research GmbH (ASCR).
