0 + 99 Years of Age

Not only is Seestadt the perfect place to live and work – it offers something for all spheres of life. There are great facilities for your youngsters, from nursery right through to sixth form. And for adults, too, there's always something to learn and experience: at Seestadt you'll find a broad range of arts and cultural offerings right on your doorstep. From workshops to community groups to major events: there's something for absolutely everyone!

Culture + Events

Celebrate whenever the opportunity arises. From dances to open-air cinema to major concerts – there's always something happening at Seestadt. Diverse pop-up uses and activities are an integral part of the programme, spanning the spectrum from cultural offerings and join-in sessions put on by the Neighbourhood Management team to neighbourhood events organised by Seestadt residents on their own initiative. And Seestadt also provides the perfect backdrop for major events like the New Year's Eve Trail or public viewing of the FIFA World Cup.

Education + Childcare

Seestadt youngsters have a varied range of childcare and educational facilities at their disposal. The Seestadt school campus is currently Vienna's largest, housing a nursery, a full-day primary school and a school for children with special physical needs under one roof. Since Autumn 2017 there is an addition of lower and upper secondary schools.

Besides the above there are also three private nurseries, the Königskinder shop, café and activity centre, an SOS Children's Village, a sheltered accommodation scheme for young people, a Caritas "homework café" and a mobile youth centre. And the needs of our younger residents will also be catered for as Seestadt expands, with a further nursery to be opened in the emerging Lakeside Park Quarter and another large school campus planned in the "Lakeside Crescent" Quarter, which will subsequently be built to the north of the lake.
